NON PROFIT VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
In our continuing effort to move the mail AND keep costs down, we have developed a program for non profit organizations to utilize their volunteers to process the handwork parts of certain presorted mailings.
Here is how it works: We agree on the date of the workday(s), you schedule your volunteers and we have everything setup for them when they arrive. We will instruct them and supervise throughout the process. Each volunteer will sign in and out so we can track their hours. When the job is completed, the total volunteer hours are added up and multiplied times $7.00 per hour. That amount (not to exceed 75% of our charge for the line item(s) the volunteers helped to process) is then deducted from your invoice.
Here are some things to note:
· Volunteers can be scheduled between 8:00AM and 4:30 PM. They should be scheduled for at least 3 to 4 hour blocks of time.
· We have a 10 minute break time at 10:00 AM and at 2:30 PM with a lunch break from 12:00 noon to 12:30 PM.
· There is hot water, instant coffee, tea, etc. available at no charge. There is a lunch area with microwaves and a refrigerator with room to bring lunches. Pop and some snacks are available at cost.
· Spanky, Our CEO (four-legged Chief Eating Officer), also cleans up lunch leftovers. He eats everything except choclate, but prefers steak and pizza.
· Please dress comfortably. Since temperatures can vary greatly, we recommend layered clothing.
· A restroom is available.
· This is a non-smoking facility.
